Artist’s Statement:
In the landscapes of the Southeastern coast, the processes of nature often compose scenes that are both beautiful and inviting. Working in the field and in the studio, I endeavor to capture something of these arrangements of nature, and the effects of a particular moment’s sunlight. I hope to give the viewer a tangible sense of being in these scenes, and in those moments of being there, to understand the way they work, and to feel the desire to explore them further.
