On April 23, 2022, 1 p.m. at the Visitor Center’s Carriage House, Philip will give a presentation for the J. Andrew Martin Jr. Memorial Fire Ecology Discovery Day, hosted by the Botanical Garden and Clemson’s Student Association of Fire Ecology.
The following impressions of prescribed fire were painted on location in numerous southeastern habitats. These burns were conducted by trained professionals from the Georgia DNR, Georgia TNC, and Tall Timbers Research Station to promote and maintain fire adapted ecosystems as well as to reduce unwanted fuel buildup.
