Hairy puccoon (yellow), spiderwort (blue-ish), and wild roses (pink) were abundant on my June 2022 visit. I noticed when I returned to this spot in the afternoon that it wasn’t as interesting due to the spiderwort closing up its blooms as the day progresses. Black oaks and jack pines and wild cherry further set up the composition.
