From my room, I painted the 5:00 AM view looking west over Mosquito Creek, 3 days after the full moon. A frontal system of cool, dry air blew through the previous day, leaving the night air clear and silvery. That might explain why this painting is so much cooler in tone than my Moonrise and Midnight studies of the previous night.
