I had hoped to capture the sunrise over Sancho Panza Creek but fog rolled in just as I got set up to paint. I pivoted (literally) to an adjacent view where the fog seemed to set off the rich colors of the scrubland/grassland community on this part of LSSI. Here is almost the same location in the fall several years prior.
