An early morning effort at Greenwood Ecological Reserve started pre-sunrise when I found this view. It was 93 and lunchtime when I quit. This is a shortleaf pine and oak/hickory dominated section of the otherwise longleaf dominated landscape Greenwood. There are six pine species there: longleaf, shortleaf, slash, loblolly, spruce, and pond.
