This privately owned glade was named for the TVA botanist who discovered it. Plants in bloom on the day Kyle Lybarger of Native Habitat Project showed me around there included Pitcher’s stitchwort (the small white flowering plant in the foreground), Gattinger’s prairie clover (not visible from this spot), and lots of ragwort which lent the most color to this view.
