Private collection

I found a view in the Burnham Wildlife Corridor that not only featured the seasonal blooms of Shorts aster and various goldenrods, but also an interesting framing of the Vista Tower through a gap in the cottonwoods and oaks. The resulting composition, combining nature and architecture, seemed to complement the themes of the corridor.

Painted on location in preparation for an on-site event with the Field Museum.
